1. Trekking
One of the best things to do in the Barren Hills is to go for an adventurous trek, the Vagamon Meadows lead to scenic trails and splendid points that will surely leave you in an awe-struck with its enchanting place. So be prepared with your hiking boots when you plan on going here.

1. Bug Spray

By Bus: One of the affordable methods to reach this serene location is by taking a bus which leads to Vagamon Bus stand which is the closest to the meadows, about 4.3 kilometers. Once at the bus stop you can a local cab or autorickshaw which can take about 20 to 30 minutes to reach the tranquil location.
Incase, if you get down at the Pullikkanam Bus Stand which is about 12.9 kilometer from the meadows, a local cab can help you reach there which can take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.
